The brief for this project was to upgrade the existing lobby entrance, café and adjacent beer garden to the Rag and Famish Hotel.
The palette of the lobby entrance and adjacent café combines corporate style with serviceable natural finishes. The café kiosk was designed with bi-fold awnings to allow the space to be fully closed outside of opening hours. Custom designed laser cut metal screening was created to separate spaces and statement light fittings help the lift and delineate separate areas. The Rag & Famish Beer garden was designed with in a more industrial style with the two spaces linked architecturally through the metal and timber finishes.
